What’s new in Pinok

What changed, newest first.

The web app, stages, reactions, import and export

  • The web app: the same workspace in a browser, with a sidebar, a task open beside its list, sheets as dialogs, ⌘K search and keyboard shortcuts (N, J, K, X, E, ?).
  • Stages for a big project (Design → Build → Launch): quiet headings with how much is done, not a board.
  • Reactions on comments: six emoji, in the bell and from a mention’s notification, so nobody has to write “Thanks”.
  • Import from Asana, Todoist, Trello or any CSV, on the web, with Undo import.
  • Export a project as CSV or JSON, and download the whole workspace as a backup.
  • A calendar feed of your dated tasks for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook.
  • Delete your account from Profile, with what goes and what stays spelled out first.

Before that

Hand-offs, Needs you, Following and approvals

  • Hand off with a note and an optional reply-by day, counted in work days; Nudge, Take it back and Later when no reply comes.
  • Needs you: a deck of what waits for you, each card with its reason and its one action.
  • Following: four numbers (overdue, stuck, due soon, on track), then the tasks, worst first. Stuck after 3 quiet work days.
  • Approvals: Approve or Request changes from the card, the task or the push.
  • Priority in three words: None, High (!), Urgent (!!), typed straight into quick add.
  • Unread badges on task rows and a “New” line on the task page; the bell and the badge always agree.
  • Project roles: admins and members; “Since you last looked” on a project you’ve visited before.
  • Away on chosen days, time zones, and local time under each person when it differs from yours.
